1/14/26: As predicted, the BC servers are underperforming, albeit not to the extent I expected. I recreated my old Blood Elf hunter and hope to take him through the entirety of the game alongside my Undead mage. Work was weird insofar as students selling hole for (used!) vapes, but such discoveries are indeed the fate of the laptop-searcher (who, more often than not, is me.)

1/13/26: Shat out of work today. Downloaded the pre-patch for The Burning Crusade Anniversary release - the cinematic was, admittedly, enough to wrench my gut. Even so, I'm not certain that nostalgia can outweigh overcrowded server layers & an overabundance of bots. My time to find out will be limited, as yesterday marked my second doctoral semester. I appear to have a week before my free time is drawn & quartered.
